Just finished reading through your adventure, your encounters with customs and the local police were probably the most interesting read. Looking back at what you did in tough situations, I have to say, you’re very optimistic. I’d probably break down and go crazy if I was in the situation with no gas for the car.

Too bad this isn’t set up so your trip can be followed from start to finish.

      Hi David,
Yeah, I know the navigation on my site needs work – sorry about that. I will work on it sometime this winter and reorganize everything.
For now, the best thing to do is click “An Adventure begins” on the right hand sidebar, then once you’ve read that, Click the link up next to the twitter logo “In the newspaper” which is the next posting.. you can keep clicking “Next” like that all the way through until the end, and everything will be in order.
      Thanks for the feedback.

    Hey Dan,

Great blog ! I’ve done an overland trip myself around Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia and Peru. Best time of my life !

I was wondering how you put together this photo mosaic ? Would love to do something like that.

    Thanks !
