Unplanned Detour

It’s been a challenging roller coaster  ride for the last couple of months trying to pull my Africa Jeep build together. I knew all along my plans and timelines were very ambitious. As it turns out, they were a little too ambitious.

To read the whole story, and the plan to move forward with the African Adventure, checkout the new issue of JPFreek Adventure Magazine. My article there has all the details.

The replacement JK Wrangler that will go around Africa

I feel extremely  lucky to have met so many great people along this journey already – people who I’m certain will be lifetime friends. Without their support and gentle nudges, I honestly don’t know where I would be.

Thanks to everyone for their help and support. I’m on the road now getting this whole thing back on track, and there will be plenty of updates this week on the new Jeep build. It has turned out better than I could have ever imagined.

P.S. For any Jeep people, I’ll be at Easter Jeep Safari in Moab 2016 for the entire week. Drop me a line or wave me down so we can meet up.

    Oh man, what a bummer!
I was wondering what was going on. Glad you’re ok, and that you’ve been able to proceed with a different jeep!
