I’ve been extremely busy this winter writing my next book – ‘The Road Chose Me Volume 2: Three years and 54,000 miles around Africa’.

It’s almost finished, and I’ve launched a Kickstarter to get it over the line.
The Kickstarter will produce a limited edition copy with 30 full color images in the interior, and this edition will never be for sale again.
The book includes stories of the adventures, the misadventures and a ton of details I’ve never written about or talked about publicly. It’s the behind the scenes stuff I didn’t feel comfortable sharing in public while it was happening, and it feels like a weight off my shoulders to get it into print now. The book also dives into the lessons I learned from the wonderful people of Africa, the world’s perception of Africa and how that compares to the reality on the ground.
Beyond just the book there are plenty of other rewards on offer through Kickstarter including stickers, patches, my Africa photography book, The Road Chose Me Volume 1 and a limited edition canvas print of my favourite photo from the expedition.
