The Road Chose Me Volume 2: Three years and 54,000 miles around Africa

It was ten years ago, on the 16th of June 2009, that I sold all my stuff, quit my job and hit the road on what would turn into 40,000 miles of adventure through 16 countries from Alaska to Argentina. The whole expedition turned into two of the best years of life, and permanently changed who I am and my future trajectory in life.
