Ontario Spring

Heather and I make a flying visit to Ontario to spend time with Heather’s family. We’re both shocked how far along spring is this far South, with green leaves and flowers bursting from seemingly everything. Trips like this remind us how barren the Yukon really is.

A highlight of the visit is a short trip on the family sailboat – then staying on the boat for the night. It feel like another world away from the regular world, and it feels like adventures simple smile

I also grow very fond of Joise, the third sister of the family. I’m reminded immediately of Mash and Daisy, my two wiener dog buddies from the Secret Garden Cotopaxi in Ecuador. Normally I’m not a fan of little dogs, but every now and then one comes along with a lot of attitude, bursting with fun. Those ones are hard not to love.

That’s because Westies are awesome dogs! We are friends up the road with one – attitude and bursting with fun? Completely.
