The Road Chose Me Volume 2: Three years and 54,000 miles around Africa
I’d hoped to be around for a shuttle launch, but it wasn’t going up for another month.
We did get to see a Delta II rocket launch and it was cool. We got up super-early two mornings in a row (launch was delayed) and joined a group of people just on the side of the road. It was pretty spectacular and the “cloud” hung around for a good 30mins.
