Jodie and Ty were heading up to Valemount to see Jodie’s Dad for his birthday, and they took me along for the adventure.

Day one we went for a good hike up to a little cabin the woods. It’s maintained by volunteers and has everything you need to stay a few nights in the mountains. In the distance, Mt. Robson(2,829 m) – the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies was dominating.

On day two we went for a huge drive along the East side of Kinbasket Lake. None of us wanted to turn back so it ended up being a many hour drive.

Last summer I drove down the West side looking for Kinbasket Lake Hot Springs, but they were covered in many meters of water.
