    Enjoyed your pictures and commrnts.

The ultimate challenge for a hot spring hunter will be when he/she/they rediscovers Glacier Lake Hot Springs (rumoured to be about 6 km from the end of the lake) and provides the coordinates, elevation and a photo.

I estimate it would require 6 days of dedicated searching with lots of mosquito repellant, a weeks supply of food, proper clothing and determination.

From my experience, and that of others such as Mike Sato, Glen Woodsworth and others, 3 days is not enough time.

    Should you try,

    Good luck

      Hey Charles,
You are right, I think Glacier Lake is one of the last “great undiscovered” hot springs in BC.
I would love to make an attempt to find it, though I live in the Yukon these days, so it would be a bit of a road trip :)

Maybe one day I’ll be back down that way and I’ll go for a hike.

      All the best,
      -Dan

Re Mutton Creek Hot Springs. This is the old name for Luccier. How do I know? Simply because there is more than one references to the hot spring near Mutton Creek in turn of the century reports in Geographical Survey of Canada and the descriptions match that of Luccier

Similar to the case of naming Pebble Creek Hot Springs. Pebble Creek Hot Springs is quite far from Pebble Creek. When B.C. Hydro got active in the Upper Lillooet Valley in 1972, there was no other reference point for naming the hot springs.

Ever summer some uninformed soles spend time looking for Pebble Creek Hot Springs on Pebble Creek. Pebble Creek Hot Springs are the same as Key Hole Falls Hot Spring. Hutton Creek Hot Spring is the same as Luccier.

In the meantime, I note that what was Pebble Creek has been renamed Boulder Creek.

        Cheers
        Charles
